Approaching wedding days with a documentary focus means holding space for you to be present with other and your loved ones; letting the events and emotions of the day flow freely.
A wedding day is a celebration, not a photoshoot. I take care to find the sweet spot between candid imagery and effortless portrait work. I’ll offer light guidance or direction if and when necessary, but I love to take more of a photojournalistic approach to let you truly enjoy your wedding day. I really believe the best wedding photos are the ones full of real love; where you’re whole heartedly living in the moment.
Photos will feel like memories when they are real memories.
01. A FOCUS ON CANDIDS
My work is documentary focused. A majority of your wedding gallery will be candid in nature. Imagery that focuses on emotion, celebration and connection. Perfectly imperfect moments that could’ve never been posed. If you are a bride who has a binder full of Pinterest Ideas then we probably are not a good match.
02. NATURAL PORTRAITS
While my work is mostly documentary, I do include portrait work for you and your partner, wedding parties and family photos. I like to keep these natural, lighthearted and unforced. This can look differently for each couple and be incorporated into your day however you’d like (or not.)
03. TRUE COLOR EDITING
I believe color is an important part of memory. I editing in a way that is soft and film inspired, keeping the colors truer in nature while slightly toning down harshness.
I want you to remember the colors of the flowers and the foliage and how bright blue the sky was.
04. SENSORY & MEMORY DETAILS
Detail images are about more than aesthetics. I like to be intentional with detail photos, using them as a means to remember your day and spark your senses. The way the day looked, felt, sounded. Your gallery will include details that go beyond your attire. Think textures, architecture, florals, food.

DO WE SHOOT ____ WEDDINGS?
..DUH. This isn’t a question for us, because we feel as though it shouldn’t be a question for anyone! Everyone deserves to celebrate their love, feel like they are on cloud 9, and have images to cherish at the end of the day.
HOW DO WE BOOK?
To start, head on over to our CONTACT PAGE and fill out our form! We’ll chat over the details and then to secure your wedding date we take a 30% retainer fee and a signed contract. It’s that easy!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK?
We book 12-18 months in advance, but please contact us at any time to check availability.
ARE WE GOING TO MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING?
We wouldn’t have it any other way! We’ll see ya at your engagement session and better yet we love grabbing nosh or a cup of coffee with our clients!
DO YOU HELP IN THE PLANNING PROCESS?
Yes , But please keep in mind I am not the "Wedding Planner". I shoot with a candid style & have been doing so since 2016. If you are a bride with binder full of Pinterest poses then I'm probably not your photographer.
CAN WE ADD MORE TIME IF OUR WEDDING IS RUNNING BEHIND SCHEDULE?
Absolutely! We never go home without your approval (and hugs). If you need us to stay longer, just ask!
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE BACK?
We deliver an average of 80 to 100 individually edited images per hour of coverage.
HOW LONG IS YOUR TURN AROUND FOR WEDDING PHOTOS?
It depends on the time of year but normally it takes anywhere between 3 - 6 weeks
CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US?
We are passionate about self love and body positivity. Of course, we’ll edit skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there (bruise, scrape, acne, etc) but we will not modify your body or natural features. If you’re especially self conscious about something, please let us know and we’ll be extra aware of that while posing you.
